Organised by Julie Tooby, the event was packed full of everything anyone planning a wedding could need. Fabulous fashion shows from the award winning team from Creatiques were a definite high point of the day with space around the catwalk being 'standing room only' for visitors wanting a sneak peak at the gorgeous gowns on show. The models from Manic SP were fab too - smiley and bouncy, just as brides should be.
The Inspiration Lounge was packed with flowers from Emma Lappin Flowers (all the images are here) and moodboards submitted by Ruby & Grace, Mrs Jones Bridal and other wedding planners and experts. The beautiful designs from More Than Word Art were a definite high point and I also showed off some wedding DIY with a little table design that was great fun to put together. I also got to indulge myself with a preview of the new collection of jewellery from Tantrums & Tiaras and oh my goodness, I am still dreaming of headpieces and swoonworthy sparkling cuffs.
The Vineyard is well known for gorgeous food and the delicious canapes that were served with champagne to guests were very well received! For those like me who are cake fans were also in for a treat because Delicious Dial A Cake were giving out samples too - hurrah! There was plenty of entertainment to enjoy as well - Guy Portlock was showing off his amazing magic and the soulful sounds of Keynote Blue had lots of us tapping our toes!
Oxfam Weddings chatting to lots of couples about gift lists, wedding favours and other 'good' things. Eley Stationery were showcasing their fabulous designs, the team from Bravo Hair were advising guests (and keeping the models looking beautiful), Moonraker Disco were giving lots of entertainment tips and Suits of Newbury were doing their bit for the boys!
Overall, the event was a huge success - lots of smiling happy people enjoying the vibe of a very interactive event. There were beautiful goodie bags for everyone who attended and the charity raffle raised over £100 for The Pink Pelican Campaign which grants money to various cancer charities.
So, to everyone that came along, thank you so much. And for those of your that missed out, don't worry - The Vineyard was so thrilled with the day, they've already asked Julie to organise another event soon!
