Tamryn's love affair with weddings began back in 2003 when she founded 'TK on the Day' - focussing solely on the then new 'on the day co-ordination' concept, managing hundreds of weddings for couples right across the UK with the help of her fabulous team of co-ordinators. After re-branding as 'TK Weddings', Tamryn took the natural step into full planning and has been lucky enough to plan some really fabulous weddings for lots of truly lovely clients.
Her first book ‘Tamryn Kirby’s Wedding Secrets’ was published in 2006 and is still popular with brides today whilst July 2010 saw the release of ‘Confessions of a Wedding Planner’, a collection of stories from Tamryn’s time planning hundreds of weddings for hundreds of couples right across the UK. ‘Confessions’ has received excellent feedback from readers who say it has made them “laugh and cry” whilst enjoying the wedding gossip and becoming involved with Tamryn’s own story.
Following the launch of ‘Confession's, Tamryn was asked to become the ‘Wedding Ambassador’ for Oxfam, helping them to promote their wedding services and the groundbreaking range of ‘Unwrapped’ gifts allowing guests to ‘buy’ a well, a goat, a desk or even a school for the recipients.
Tamryn is a judge on the forthcoming series of ‘Three Grand Weddings’, one of Wedding TV’s highest rated shows. As a judge, Tamryn has her eye on the work of three other wedding planners and comments throughout the ten episodes and providing tips and information to viewers as well as making the odd despairing comment!
Having taken a step back from full time planning to concentrate on writing her third book (more news on that soon!), Tamryn is also currently working with Julie Tooby on a new venture, EY Partners, overhauling wedding services at selected venues, advising on marketing and organising events. This combination of work is keeping her very busy, very happy and still very 'in love' with weddings.

Away from 'all things wedding', Tamryn loves to cook (and eat!), take part in crazy marathons and even crazier endurance events and is regularly told off for not knowing enough about Pokemon by her son!
